CREATIVE CONVERGENCE 2023

In 2023, ScreenSkills (with funding from Arts Council England) commissioned us to deliver a 1.5-day workshop in partnership with the brilliant Target 3D, Mocap Vaults, Copper Candle and our Technical Associates at BRiGHTBLACK. We welcomed an extraordinary cohort of 25 arts and culture directors, producers, makers, curators and other artists to explore how the technologies, processes and workforces of the creative industries are converging. Participants received an In-Camera Visual FX demo from Liminal, training in directing mocap from the Mocap Vaults, sessions on producing shows incorporating virtual production technologies and workflows, and live R&D demos experimenting with the real-time application of bleeding-edge virtual production techniques in Target 3D's brand new LED volume on Dock Street, E1.
